Scio Farms Interactive Neighborhood Watch Alert Reporting

Suspicious activities, crimes, and safety concerns should always be reported to the authorities and/or management. However, many people in our community may not be aware of the problem or activity. Sending an email to the INWAR system will alert everyone that has signed up.

Weather advisories and alerts from the Washtenaw County Sheriff are also sent to the group.

UPDATE: The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office has switched over to Nixle to send out their community alerts. Please note that we are already able to pick up these alerts on the INWAR mailing list. If you are currently subscribed to INWAR, no further action is necessary on your part to receive WCSO's Nixle alerts through email. However, if you would like to also receive text message alerts on your mobile phone, you must sign up your own user at Nixle and configure the text message alerts. Please visit Nixle's site for details on how to set up text message alerts.

To place an activity report, send an email to:
inwar@googlegroups.com

The subject line should have a brief one or two word description of the issue. Here are some examples:
*suspicious activity*
*theft/robbery*
*vandalism*
*missing child*
*safety issue*

The body of the message should include:

Location of incident
Time and date of incident
Type of occurrence
Did you notify 911 or Community Management?
